Die Karte steht allen zur Verfügung und kann von allen, die sich für einen Ressourcen schonenden Umgang mit Materialien engagieren, ergänzt werden.
Um die digitale Karte MINING MAP für weitere Orte zu einem wichtigen Tool werden zu lassen, ist sie so programmiert, dass die gesamte Struktur der Website als Packet an interessierte Kunsthochschulen oder Gruppierungen in anderen Städten weitergegeben werden kann. Diese Institutionen können für ihre Stadt die MINING MAP als Tool adaptieren und auf der MINING MAP WORLD eintragen lassen, die das Potential hat, ein weltumspannendes Werkzeug zu werden.
Mining Map Zürich is a digital city map designed to find reusable materials for art projects and other endeavors. The city of Zurich is used as a mine for surplus or previously used materials, and information about sources is shared.
